Green Lantern - First Flight

Go Buy the DVD!!!!  GL is finally out, please check it out and let me know what you think.  This was a dream project, I designed 99% of the characters, it was a ton of fun, a ton of work and a privilege to work alongside Bruce Timm and Lauren Montgomery.

This is gonna be GL week so I'll start posting art and stuff, plus I'll sneak in some Comic-Con stuff too.

4:00 AM

Hello Everyone,

I've been keeping this quite for awhile but my new sketchbook is finally in my hands, so here it is: 4:00 AM.  

The title of the book celebrates the fact that 4:00 AM is the average time I've been going to sleep in the past few months.  I know artists are no strangers to late nights but I just feel I've been doing it too much haha!.  I've been working on four major projects this year, three of them unfortunately I can't talk about and the fourth, well the fourth one is another special book that will be out later this year: Mariachi-Samurai Vol.2

4:00 AM has the very first sneak peek of what's coming, it's just a few images that I hope you'll enjoy.  The rest of the book is a great collection of character work, most of the stuff it's making it out to the public eye for the first time.

The Book will debut at San Diego Comic-Con later this month, so if you are going to the con make sure to stop by at table H9 and say hello and pick up a copy.

I'll post some pic's soon and I'll have more info about the con and Mariachi in the next few posts.

Here's the cover I drew for the standard DVD version, the one from a few posts below is for the Blu-ray version.  It turned out very nice, I don't know who did the color work but they did a very good job.

Book Sketches

Hola!

These are a couple of sketches I did for two very kind souls that purchased Mariachi Samurai thru my online store.  The Mariachi sketch was fun, I've been drawing that guy quite a bit lately, oops!! I think I've said too much haha!

Batman was a special request, I think it has a The Batman vibe to it that I like.  It's hard to shake that stuff off when you did four seasons of it, a lot of fun to do and it brought great memories back.
